Birth day story

Things happened so fast I haven't had a chance to retell the birth story.

So about 10:40 I sent out at text saying my contractions weren't to bad and I was sure I would be sent home. Jacob and I were watching American Idol and wanted to get home to watch survivor.Well my sweet Sayla-Jewell was born at 10:52 so things changed quick! We were waiting on the dr. to get out of a c-section. He walking in and asked how I felt and I said the contractions seemed less. He looked at the monitor and laughed! He said they were coming every 2 minutes and he could send me home but why do that when he was already ready to deliver her and my planned c-section was only 2 days away. Jacob and I didn't know what to say! The dr. sent Jacob to the car for the camera, we had time to call Jacob's mom and my mom. I think they would have put the spinal in my back as I was walking to the surgery room if they could!

They had a tough time getting the spinal in, which was the worst part. But the nurses were so nice and encouraging after about 5 shots they got it. Within 10 minutes baby sayla-jewell was born, with a small little cry. She was completely healthy and beautiful and the first thing I could say was that she looked just like the boys, which is a cookie cutter image of their dad. I couldn't be more proud to take care of 3 sweet babies that remind me of the dad every minute of the day.

My mom made it about 5 minutes after she was born and my brother drove from Colorado Springs to see her. My dad left for Phoenix the next day but he was able to see his newest grandchild before he was born. Sayla-Jewell is going to meet jacob's mom and brother next week and we are excited for them to visit!
