Devil numbers

So here's the deal. In May jacob and I will celebrate 6 years together! Well I figured up the other day and I was trying to pull on one leg of my pre-pregnancy pants unsuccessfully, that for more than half of our marriage, about 4 years I have either been pregnant or struggling to shake my post pregnancy weight.

Now jacob has never said anything about me needing to loose weight, and it's not about the number but im ready to get back to feeling like I could walk down that aisle in destin again!

So here is the deal, I will post weekly my weight loss, gains or losses because so far nothing seems to work to keep me from eating like im still pregnant! Anyway here is where we are starting...Just to give you a gauge of where I need to be, I was 125 when we got married.

Weekend happenings

This is what my parents wake up to every morning. My boys sneak past our door, bc they know we would make them go back to bed, and head down to mamie and papa's room.
Deer we saw in Boulder. By the way, their farmers market is way cool, can't wait to go back.
Sunrise easter service without the sunrise (it was a little cloudy)

Sayla-Jewell wondering why in the world we got up at 4:30 and are sitting in the cold raining weather! Luckily the snow suit Niki Wood bought for her kept her warm.
Bluegrass band to start the service. Bluegrass and church? Only in Colorado!
Walking back from Red Rocks Amphitheater. over 10,000 people were there this morning.

Roast Chicken Recipe I had to share

My sister gave me the Food Network magazine for Christmas, (awesome gift by the way!) and this recipe was in their thanksgiving issue.

I used a chicken instead of turkey. We made it last night, and as you can see I couldn't get a picture of the beautiful roast chicken before it was devoured.

The chicken smelled up the house, in a good way, the entire day.

It felt like thanksgiving in April, a very snowy cold april. Thats right folks, solomon's game was cancelled today because it was snowing.

Here's the recipe: http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/alton-brown/good-eats-roast-turkey-recipe/index.html

So my kids like Ranch Dressing

So much that a little ended up in Solleys hair.

No ranch dressing, just some daddy daughter time.

Estes Park

 Elk in the meadows
These Elk were just sitting in front of the power plant, and later we saw them walking around on the golf course.
Solomon and Silar thought those elk in the background were going to get them, but I talked him into a quick picture.
He is such a sweet boy!
 Sheep
 More Elk
 Looks like a postcard
Sibling photo shoot today that didn't go like i'd plan, but still cute anyway.

Dinosaur Garden

This is the dinosaur garden mamie made with the kids this week. They love to go outside and see if their dinosaurs are drinking water.

Papa and his solomon

Giant slide at Mile High Marketplace. This was my idea but when I saw my little boy walking up that long staircase I got nervous. Thankfully Papa volunteered to ride with solomon. When they got to the top Papa said, "Are you scared Solomon" and solomon replied "No Papa this is fun!"

They also had a sort of garage sale which I loved a huge year round farmers market...I think im in love!
