Bad mom?

I searched all over the house looking for my sweet silar this morning. After almost getting to the freak out level, I heard a little rustling in the laundry room. I opened the door and the dryer door swung open. He is such a mess.

Clowning around

Our friend from back home, Bobbi, gave jacob this clown nose. It came in a little jar and said "for dad's, in case of an emergecy". The boys found it yesterday and thought it was so funny, especially to put on little sister.

Birth day story

Things happened so fast I haven't had a chance to retell the birth story.

So about 10:40 I sent out at text saying my contractions weren't to bad and I was sure I would be sent home. Jacob and I were watching American Idol and wanted to get home to watch survivor.Well my sweet Sayla-Jewell was born at 10:52 so things changed quick! We were waiting on the dr. to get out of a c-section. He walking in and asked how I felt and I said the contractions seemed less. He looked at the monitor and laughed! He said they were coming every 2 minutes and he could send me home but why do that when he was already ready to deliver her and my planned c-section was only 2 days away. Jacob and I didn't know what to say! The dr. sent Jacob to the car for the camera, we had time to call Jacob's mom and my mom. I think they would have put the spinal in my back as I was walking to the surgery room if they could!

They had a tough time getting the spinal in, which was the worst part. But the nurses were so nice and encouraging after about 5 shots they got it. Within 10 minutes baby sayla-jewell was born, with a small little cry. She was completely healthy and beautiful and the first thing I could say was that she looked just like the boys, which is a cookie cutter image of their dad. I couldn't be more proud to take care of 3 sweet babies that remind me of the dad every minute of the day.

My mom made it about 5 minutes after she was born and my brother drove from Colorado Springs to see her. My dad left for Phoenix the next day but he was able to see his newest grandchild before he was born. Sayla-Jewell is going to meet jacob's mom and brother next week and we are excited for them to visit!

Cookie cutter kids

Boys Boutique

I made these for the boys. I am so tired of the same ole boring boys clothes so I bought some from goodwill, cut them up. Mostly I replaced the sleeves or added a new bottom to them. They are suppossed to look pretty worn, and im sure solomon could have sewed them but now they have something new and not boring to wear.

I made these the day sayla-jewell was born.

A post dedicated to my sweet silar

Today I got to have a date with Silar. We went grocery shopping, he happily played in the playroom while I tried to hold off contractions, and we got Krispy Kreme. Silar has always been so sweet since the day he was born. These are a few things I love about my little man:
1. He is the easiest child to calm when he is upset. All you have to do is give him a hug or tickle him.
2. He has the funniest silly face and will do it everytime you ask.
3. He is a snuggler. He gets in bed with me every morning and cuddles for about 10 minutes.
4. He is so good at telling on his brother. He doesn't talk much but I always know if solomon is messing with him.
5. He eats just like his momma, krispy kreme and all.
6. He makes us pray at every meal, sometimes mutiple times.
7. He loves to look at mommas belly and see the baby, even in public!
8. No one can stand to see him upset so he is spoiled rotten.
9. He can say everybody's name in our family.
10. He is my little man. And I love that he reminds me of his daddy everyday.

Not yet...

While jacob and I were watching the Office last night, I started having contractions. They were every 2-3 minutes apart and pretty rough. He ran downstairs (and I mean ran) im still laughing at how fast he got me 2 bottles of water. He made me drink them and I fell asleep. If you don't drink an insane amount of water up here you get dehydrated. Anyway they went away but I was for sure the baby was coming. So far nothing new. We are going to eat at Steubens:

It was feautured on Diners Drive Ins and Dive no the FoodNetwork so we are going to check it out, hopefully she will at least wait until after supper to make her appearance because it's 8 am and im already hungry!

Barefoot and pregnant photo shoot

All these were taken at the Red Rocks amplitheater in morrison, co. I would not recommend the walk up the endless flight of stairs to any 9 month pregnant lady for anyone remotely out of shape for that matter. I was almost talked out of the trek but we pushed forward and got some great pics. Jacob took the pictures and I edited them.
