Uncle Justin sent the boys some of his old hats.Silar has not taken it off since last night. And not only is he one of the coolest guys in the house, he also is doing so great potty training.  He even told me this morning he had to go! That warranted to get some chocolate!

Yesterday was a day without coupons!

Yesterday I did no couponing while the babies were awake. So we played all day. However, today we went to a couple deals to get free pasta, toothpaste, toothbrushes and candy. Why candy you ask??? Well, our little Silar, as you can notice, is wearing big boy underwear so when he goes in the potty, he gets a treat. He is doing so great, we were out in town all morning and no accidents!

I bought all that pictured for $1.50 at Walgreens, and the picture above is Jacob and me in front of my stockpile.

I think we did a good job!

 This came in the mail today, a pretty cool free sample.

So I set out today on my weekly grocery shop. I went to a store that only accepts 3 like coupons so I can only buy 3 boxes of pasta at a time. This trip shows you can buy your weekly groceries...not just 50 tubes of toothpaste for almost free!

My total without coupons and my store card was $107.57.
After coupons.....$8.72!!! Thats a 93% savings.

I even bought 3 packs of chicken!!! Meat coupons are hard to come by.

These pickles are so good but so spicy! Silar doesn't even blink....can you see all that red pepper in the bowl??

I love my kids!

To me this looks like a hot mess of sugary cereal...to my kids it was heaven in a box. I had a coupon so I bought some cheap Fruit Loops. Since I have never fed my kids this type of sugar-coma induced madness, you would have thought they were eating Krispy Kremes!

These 2 robo cops were patrolling the neighborhood for bad guys! But I'm not sure Silar's Fedora would strike fear in any criminal's heart...it would probably just melt it if Silar coupled it with his smile!

Good news on Silar...we went to the heart doctor while we were home and the news is....the 2 holes in his heart that he was born with have closed! We couldn't be more elated.
